Robert (Bob) Musick

Bob graduated from West Virginia University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work in the 1970’s and is currently the Director of PSIMED, Inc.’s behavioral health office in Morgantown, West Virginia. PSIMED is a Behavioral Health Management Company providing outpatient services and corrections-based mental health services throughout Wes Virginia. Bob started The West Virginia Council for the Prevention of Suicide where he was the CEO for 15 years. While there he spearheaded multiple initiatives for state and national prevention efforts and had his research on the topic of suicide published nationally. During a long portion of Bob’s career, he was an administrator for one of West Virginia’s largest comprehensive community mental health centers where he served in various management and executive positions over a 34-year period. Throughout his career, Bob has taught management and direct services at West Virginia University’s School of Social Work as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor. Bob serves on several state boards dealing with Juvenile Programs, Veterans, and suicide prevention in the state of West Virginia. Bob had worked with the local County Jail providing counseling services to inmates and served as President of the Civil Service Commission. Bob is completing his 51st successful year of working with The Behavioral Health System in West Virginia and in his spare time hangs out with his grandson “the Big Guy”.
